Finding MKW at 13 feels like living in a dystopian world, especially when you see Fast Fusion and No Man’s Sky above it. The writing in Disco Elysium is just so good and is some of the best you can experience in a PS5 game. It’s rich, detailed, gives a great sense of place, and makes for some very memorable interactions. The way Astro’s Playroom deploys the DualSense’s features and powers is unparalleled. From feeling different surfaces ‘underfoot’ to loading springy jumps with the triggers, it’s superb.

Extra exposition is good and all, but it comes at the immense sacrifice of the suspense and tension built by the games. Im eyeing something to fill the gap between my replay of botw and DK. Originally I was eyeing cyberpunk but fantasy life I is getting some high praise so I may shift my stance. Fast fusion will be a purchase one day, but I dont need another racer atm since im playing MKW. When you really think about it, there’s not much new stuff to play past MKW, and fast fusion. It’s one of the few examples of a game that completely repaired its first time image.
